Don’t Forget Your Loved Ones:
The biggest regret we hear is those who didn’t realize they could bring their other fur babies, kids, spouse/partner. Please bring them so we can create the ultimate portrait set for you. Please let us know how we can help make this happen.

Dress Your Best:
You’ll be in the majority of portraits - be sure to dress your best so we can create a portrait you love. Aside from forgetting loved ones - this is the most consistent reason families end up wanting to do a re-shoot is they are blown away at what we create and they are disappointed in how they dressed.

The Day of Your Portrait Session:
Please arrive 5 minutes early - account for traffic - unfortunately arrivals more than 5 minutes late often need to reschedule to respect other families in our calendar.

We do have a dressing room, and a mirror in the bathroom if you need to do some quick touchups.

We are a fur baby/family focused portrait studio and we try to avoid overlapping of fur babies to ensure everyone’s safety and to keep insurance happy. With this, we ask that you arrive no more than 10 minutes early for your appointment or we will need to ask you to wait in your car or take your fur baby(ies) for a walk.

Terms/Conditions agreed to when booking:
We’re an appointment-only studio, and your time is held just for you — we turn away other families for that spot.
Your deposit holds both your portrait and ordering sessions and is refunded once you’ve attended your ordering appointment.

If you ever need to reschedule, please give us at least 9 days’ notice so another family can enjoy that time.
Cancellations or changes inside that window — or no-shows — would forfeit the deposit

Artwork Ordering Appointment:
At your portrait session you can schedule your ordering appointment. Spouses/partners/significant others attend this appointment together. Due to a backlog of sessions in our calendar & limited availability, this appointment is the only opportunity you will have to see the portraits. All ordering decisions will be made at this time for the gifted piece as well as any options above/beyond the gifted piece.

Your Gifted Piece & Additional Artwork Options:
Your gifted piece is an 8x10” fine art print. At your ordering appointment we’ll guide you in finding the perfect portrait for this piece, as well as show you other options of how to bring your portraits to life beyond the gifted piece. You can learn more about some of our artwork and prices here.

Deposit:
Your deposit is refunded at your ordering appointment. There’s no requirement to invest in additional artwork - but this is a marketing promotion that you booked for in our project - and we’re really good at what we do - so we have found that even though most families think they won’t, about 70% or more end up choosing to invest in additional artwork. If you choose to do so, we can apply your deposit toward that purchase if you prefer.

Emotions:
We are a 100% emotion driven portrait studio - we find that those who just want a snapshot tend to be happier at JC Penny. With our sessions, we’ll explore what it is you love most about your family, kids, fur babies, and how we can capture that in a portrait, and how we can help you select the portrait that best brings that bond to life. We’ll ask you tough and deep questions because we care. We realize that makes a few families uncomfortable - but no apologies, it’s what allows us to create portraits on a whole other level.
