Bokeh Creatives curates and selects clients for our Featured Portrait Project — a marketing program in which selected participants receive a complimentary portrait session and one specified piece of artwork at no charge. The typical retail value of this gift is approximately $1,000 (portrait session ≈ $500 + one specified piece of artwork ≈ $500). Values may vary by promotion; the specific retail value of your included gift will be stated in your notification email and text message. Selection is made by our team based on suitability for our current portrait project; this is not a random drawing or chance-based promotion.
As part of the experience, all participants attend a private ordering appointment at our Roseville studio, where finished portraits are shown for the first time and additional wall art, framing, and digital collections are available for purchase. Portrait artwork ranges from $500 to $30,000 (see Section 27). No purchase is required to apply, to be selected, or to receive the included complimentary artwork. Participation in the Featured Portrait Project does not require any purchase. Making a purchase will not increase your chances of being selected, and no purchase is required to receive the included complimentary portrait session and specified artwork.
This program is open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years or older at the time of application. Applicants who have received any gift, complimentary session, or promotional offer from Bokeh Creatives within the past 18 months are not eligible to be selected. If you book a session under this program and fall under these restrictions, you will not qualify to receive the complimentary artwork. Void where prohibited by law.
By applying, you (“Applicant”) agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Terms and Conditions. You also represent that you meet all eligibility requirements. All decisions made by Bokeh Creatives regarding the program are final and binding.
Applications are accepted online during the specified program period. Applicants are curated and selected by the Bokeh Creatives team based on suitability for our current portrait project — this is not a random drawing or chance-based promotion. Selected participants will be notified and must respond within five (5) days to claim their spot. Failure to respond will result in forfeiture of the spot, which will then be offered to the next eligible applicant.
Applications must be submitted through the official online form provided on our website or social media platforms. Only one application per person is permitted. Any incomplete or fraudulent applications will be disqualified at Bokeh Creatives' sole discretion.
Selected participants will receive: (a) a complimentary portrait session at Bokeh Creatives Studio in Roseville, California, and (b) the specific piece of artwork described in the notification email and text message. The typical retail value of the Featured Portrait Project gift is approximately $1,000, comprising a portrait session (approximate retail value $500) and one specified piece of artwork (approximate retail value $500). Values may vary by promotion; the specific retail value of your included gift will be stated in your notification email and text message. Framing is not included. Digital files are not included. Additional wall art, framed pieces, and digital collections are not included and are separately available for purchase at the ordering appointment (see Section 7). The ONLY included piece is what was stated in the notification email and text message. If applicable, a Grand Prize Winner will be selected on January 1. Included items are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be substituted for cash.
All participants attend a private ordering appointment at our Roseville studio, typically scheduled two to four weeks after the portrait session. At this appointment, your finished portraits are shown for the first time, you select the included complimentary artwork described in your notification, and additional wall art, framed pieces, digital collections, and other portrait products are offered for purchase. Portrait artwork ranges from $500 to $30,000 (see Section 27). Attending the ordering appointment is part of participation in the program; however, no purchase beyond the included complimentary artwork is required. Because purchase decisions are made at the ordering appointment, please review Section 24 (Decision Makers' Presence) before scheduling your session.
Participants are responsible for all applicable taxes and fees related to the included artwork and any purchases. Grand Prize Winners will receive tax documentation for the prize's value, as required by law.
Participants may reserve a session by paying a refundable reservation deposit, which guarantees a time slot and is refunded at your attended ordering appointment.
Rescheduling requires at least 9 days' notice; requests made with less notice forfeit the reservation deposit. For repeat reschedules, Bokeh Creatives may, at its sole discretion, offer a reschedule with less notice for a $100 rescheduling fee. Cancellations are non-refundable and forfeit the deposit, which we donate to a local shelter. Arriving more than 10 minutes late will count as a cancellation.
By accepting participation in the program, you grant Bokeh Creatives the right to use your name, likeness, and portraits created during the session for promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. If you prefer that your portraits not be used for marketing, please tell us in writing before your session.
Bokeh Creatives will not sell or share any personal information provided during the application process. For details on how we handle your information, including SMS opt-in data, see our Privacy Policy.
By participating, you agree not to make any statements, whether written or verbal, or cause or encourage, or knowingly allow others to make any statements, that defame, disparage, or in any way criticize the personal or business reputation, practices, or conduct of Bokeh Creatives, its employees, directors, or officers. The Participant acknowledges and agrees that this prohibition extends to statements made to anyone, including but not limited to online websites, social media, the news media, investors, potential investors, any board of directors or advisory board of directors, industry analysts, competitors, strategic partners, vendors, employees (past and present), and clients, and will refrain from performing any act, directly or indirectly, which tends to alter or diminish the reputation of any party to this agreement, through any form of communication. This includes anything done through surnames, friends, relatives, or proxy.
Bokeh Creatives reserves the right to disqualify any participant who tampers with the application process, violates these terms, or engages in fraudulent activity.
Bokeh Creatives and its affiliates shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from participation in the program, including but not limited to technical failures, unauthorized human intervention, or errors in administration.
This program is governed by the laws of the State of California and Placer County. Any disputes must be resolved exclusively in courts located in Placer County, Roseville, California. Participants waive their right to class-action lawsuits and punitive damages.
Bokeh Creatives shall not be held responsible for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, or other unforeseen events.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Any disputes arising from or related to this program, which cannot be resolved amicably, shall be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Placer County, California.
Bokeh Creatives makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the included artwork, services, or any products provided through this program. All included items are provided “as is.”
Participants agree to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
This program is sponsored solely by Bokeh Creatives LLC, 660 Commerce Drive, Suite H, Roseville, CA 95678, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or administered by Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media platform.
Gifted artwork will be delivered within 16 weeks of the ordering appointment. Custom pieces will be delivered as scheduled.
All decisions are made at the ordering appointment — anyone who needs to be part of that decision process must be present for the appointment. Because the complimentary artwork is a gift, we do not schedule follow-up viewing meetings, so the ordering appointment will be the only opportunity to view portraits and make any additional purchasing decisions.
All purchases made during the ordering appointment are final and cannot be changed or canceled.
Framing is available for purchase. Artwork framed by Bokeh Creatives includes a lifetime warranty. Artwork not framed by Bokeh Creatives carries no warranty.
Portrait artwork ranges from $500 to $30,000. Options to upgrade beyond the included complimentary piece will be presented at the ordering appointment. Any purchases beyond the included artwork are entirely optional.
Bokeh Creatives reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the program for reasons beyond its control, including but not limited to fraud, technical issues, or pandemics. In such cases, participants may be selected from eligible applications received prior to the cancellation.
By applying, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from Bokeh Creatives LLC regarding updates, promotions, and other important communications. Message frequency may vary.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text “STOP” to the shortcode. Upon sending “STOP,” we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between participants and Bokeh Creatives concerning this program and supersede all prior communications, agreements, or understandings, whether written or verbal.
