Our studio was born the day our daughter went into brain surgery.

In that waiting room, we understood something we'd always known but never felt: that the people we love won't always be here. And when they're gone, what remains are the moments we chose to hold onto.

We're going to ask you the question nobody wants to answer: what will you miss most when your fur baby crosses the rainbow bridge? It's not a sales tactic. It's the reason the portrait matters.

We're not photographers.
We're a portrait studio.

A photographer takes pictures. We commission artwork. Every portrait that leaves our studio passes through multiple artists — from the photographer who captures it, to the retoucher who hand-finishes every detail, to the master printmakers who produce it on archival materials rated to last a century or more.

That's why we work the way we do. Your session is just the beginning. After that comes your ordering appointment, where you sit with your art director and choose the pieces that move you most. Then our artists go to work — and weeks later, finished heirloom artwork arrives at your door, ready to hang.

It's the same process the masters used for centuries. We just start with a camera instead of a brush.
